FSCA addresses the issue of saving at Afrika Tikkun Business roadshow

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority Consumer Education team attended the Afrika Tikkun Business roadshow in Diplsoot on 18 May 2018. The purpose of the workshop was to encourage entrepreneurship and expose in and out of school youth to funding sources for small businesses. Aspiring young entrepreneurs gained insight into a live simulation of various available career opportunities through dialogues and workshops.

One of the attendees indicated that the FSCA CED workshops were of importance in the community because the assumption, in the community, is that people tend to value material things than taking a life cover.

Information shared by the FSCA team included savings and investments, the role of FSCA, consumer rights and responsibilities when buying financial products and careers at the FSCA.
